Luxury Villa Excelsior Parco

“Infinity pool facing the Gulf of Naples, open April to October, teak sun loungers under parasol pines.”
Luxury Villa Excelsior Parco occupies a 1900 villa on the Via Provinciale Marina Grande, north side of the island, fifteen minutes from the Piazzetta by shuttle. We sleep in rooms with majolica floors, wrought-iron furniture, balconies facing the sea or the two-hectare wooded park. The infinity pool overlooks the gulf, heated water, towel and cocktail service until 7pm. The restaurant serves honest Campanian cooking, local produce, short menu that changes according to arrivals. From 998 € a night, continental breakfast included, free shuttle to Marina Grande. We recommend the sea-facing rooms, golden light at sunset, clear view to Vesuvius. Family address, attentive management, far from the centre's bustle ✨
Who is it for?
Who we recommend it to
We recommend the Villa Excelsior Parco to couples seeking Capri calm without forgoing the view, and to families wanting space (family rooms, park to run in). It's an address for those who prefer the pine grove to the Piazzetta, breakfast facing the sea to luxury boutiques. Travellers wanting to be at the heart of the action will pass it by, here we come for the light and silence.
The building
Architecture and interiors
Neoclassical villa built at the start of the XXᵉ century, renovated in the 2010s respecting the original architecture. Ocre and white facade, round-arched arcades, Sorrento stone terraces. Mediterranean interiors: hand-painted majolica floors, exposed beams, wrought-iron and rattan furniture. Rooms between 25 and 45 m², ceiling height of 3.20 m, some with private balcony facing the gulf.
At the table
Restaurants, bar, service
The villa's restaurant offers a short Campanian menu, renewed according to market arrivals: fresh pasta, grilled fish, island vegetable garden produce. Continental breakfast served on the sea-facing terrace, local produce, homemade jams, Neapolitan pastries. Room service available until 10pm, simplified menu. No signature chef, honest cooking without gastronomic pretensions.
