Hotel Moeesy, Blue & Green Oasis - Adults Only

We recommend the Moeesy to couples in their thirties and older seeking calm without giving up proximity to Hvar port. It is an address for late honeymoons, wedding anniversaries, wellness retreats with friends. Families are excluded by the adults-only policy, which guarantees a hushed atmosphere even in July-August.

The hotel occupies a recent white-stone and smooth-concrete construction, contemporary Mediterranean architecture without frills. Clean interiors, light travertine floors, Scandinavian furniture in natural wood tones. The rooms are arranged over three levels, most with private terraces overlooking the sea. Human scale, a maximum of fifty rooms, which preserves intimacy.

The main restaurant offers a Mediterranean menu with Adriatic fish and local vegetables, service on the terrace facing the sea. Generous buffet breakfast, Croatian produce (Pag cheeses, Dalmatian charcuterie, house pastries). Poolside bar for late-afternoon cocktails, well-stocked list of Croatian wines. Room service available until 22h, reduced but carefully chosen menu.

The Moeesy stands fifteen minutes' walk from Hvar port, on the western corniche, in a quiet residential neighbourhood. The historic centre (St Stephen's Square, Spanish fortress) is reachable in ten minutes on foot, yet the hotel remains apart from the evening bustle. Free airport shuttle from Split, otherwise catamaran to the port then taxi (five minutes). The area is green, few restaurants nearby, guests return to dine at the hotel or head down to the port.
