The neoclassical villa dates from the early 20th century, restored as a luxury hotel in the 2000s. Traditional Sardinian architecture: ochre façades, painted wooden shutters, Roman-tile roofs, garden-side arcades. Interiors are pared-back with terracotta floors, exposed beams, bespoke furniture in local wood. The annex pavilions echo the codes of the main villa, with ceiling heights between 3 and 3.5 metres.

The main restaurant serves Mediterranean cuisine centred on Sardinian produce: grilled octopus, bottarga, Sardinian lamb, pecorino cheeses. No media-famous signature chef, yet a stable brigade working with the fishermen of Villasimius.
