We slept in a room with whitewashed walls, Sardinian terrazzo floor, contemporary furniture signed by local artisans. The pool overlooks a closed garden planted with olive trees and oleanders, open from April to October. The restaurant serves honest Mediterranean cuisine, local catch products, short menu that changes every week. The villa dates from the 1920s, typical Sardinian Liberty façade of Alghero, restored in 2018 with respect for the original volumes. Contemporary pared-back interiors: old floor tiles preserved, white walls, light oak joinery, bathrooms in Orosei stone. Ceiling heights of 3.50 m in the first-floor rooms. The property comprises 12 rooms spread over two levels, average surface area estimated between 25 and 35 m².

The restaurant at Casa Clàt serves continental breakfast (Sardinian products, homemade pastries) and dinner four evenings a week in season. Short menu of six dishes, Mediterranean cuisine focused on local catch and vegetables from the hinterland. No signature chef, yet careful execution and generous portions. Room service available until 22h, simplified menu. We tested the grilled octopus and the culurgiones, honest without being memorable.
