Villa Urbana holds a handful of rooms on the route du Fort, three kilometres from the port of Porto-Vecchio. We slept in a suite with teak terrace, sliding glass bays, white linen and Bonifacio stone. The infinity pool overlooks the gulf, Dedon loungers, cocktail service until 8pm. The restaurant offers a short menu, Corsican products, Piantarella lobster depending on arrivals. Rate from 950 € per night, breakfast included. Thirty-something clientele, couples on long weekends, a few families outside July-August. We recommend it for the intimacy and the view, not for the animation ✨

We recommend Villa Urbana to couples seeking a confidential address without the animation of large resorts. It is a hotel for thirty- and forty-somethings, late honeymoons, May or September weekends. Families with children over 12 find their place, yet the spirit remains adult and calm.

Architecture and interiors
Contemporary villa built in 2021, Corsican stone and polished concrete, roof terrace planted with maquis. Interiors signed by a Milanese studio: travertine flooring, driftwood, natural linen, Cassina and B&B Italia furniture. Rooms between 32 and 55 m², all on one level or upstairs with direct garden access. Ceiling height 3.20 m, floor-to-ceiling glass bays.

Restaurants, bar, service
The restaurant at Villa Urbana serves dinner only, six evenings a week (closed Mondays). Short menu renewed each week: grilled octopus, Corsican veal, cheeses from Albertacce, cédrat tart. Breakfast served on the terrace or in the room, produce from the Sotta farm, homemade jams. No signature chef, kitchen run by a duo trained in Bonifacio. Cocktail service by the pool until 8pm, list of 18 references.

Where the hotel sits in Corse
Villa Urbana stands on the route du Fort, three kilometres south of Porto-Vecchio, between the marina and Palombaggia beach. Upper town ten minutes by car, restaurants on rue Borgo fifteen minutes away. Figari airport 25 km, 30 minutes' drive. The neighbourhood is residential, private villas and a few small hotels, absolute calm after 10pm. Private shuttle to Palombaggia and Santa Giulia included, departures at 10am and 3pm.
