IHG tower on Begin Road, between business district and beach, with rooftop pool facing the skyline.
Crowne Plaza Tel Aviv City Center by IHG

“Rooftop pool with panoramic view over Tel Aviv, open all year.”
The Crowne Plaza Tel Aviv City Center occupies a glass tower on Menachem Begin, midway between the Azrieli towers and Frishman beach. We head up to the rooftop for the pool, small but with clear views over the city to the Mediterranean. The rooms are IHG-standard, decent bedding, beige marble bathrooms, effective double glazing against avenue noise. The spa offers massages and sauna, no palace pretensions but sufficient after a day of meetings or beach. From 205 € per night, it is good value for Tel Aviv in high season. The clientele mixes international business and Israeli families at weekends. An honest chain 5★, without architectural signature but with the expected services ✨
Who is it for?
Who we recommend it to
We recommend the Crowne Plaza to business travellers seeking a reliable 5★ without paying boutique-hotel prices on Rothschild, and to families looking for pool, space and proximity to the beach. Couples on a city break will find comfort and a rooftop for aperitifs, but not the intimacy of the design addresses in the north. It is a hotel for those who prioritise services (spa, fitness, room service) over signature architecture.
The building
Architecture and interiors
Contemporary glass-and-concrete tower, typical of Tel Aviv's business district in the 2000s. Light-marble lobby with double height, indirect lighting, standard IHG furniture. Rooms occupy the upper floors, floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows, views over the city or the Judean hills depending on orientation. The rooftop on the top floor houses the pool and a teak solarium, the sole real architectural asset of the ensemble.
At the table
Restaurants, bar, service
Restaurant Olive Leaf on the ground floor, Mediterranean cuisine and Israeli buffet breakfast (salad, cheeses, shakshuka, pastries). Bar Lounge in the lobby for cocktails and snacking until 23h, frequented by business clientele after work. Room service 24/7, unsurprising international menu. Nothing notable on the table, yet the morning buffet is generous and the kosher menu available on request.
