The Cabú Hotel occupies a contemporary building on the avenue linking Rhodes to Lindos, two kilometres from Faliraki centre. We tested a poolside room: light terrazzo floor, blonde wood furniture, polished concrete bathroom with Italian shower. The central pool structures the entire hotel, teak sun loungers, ecru canvas parasols, bar in local stone. The restaurant serves honest Mediterranean cuisine, Greek produce, attentive service without being stuffy. From 272 € per night, we find the value for money correct for a well-maintained adults-only. The Cabú Hotel is a new two-storey building, white cubic architecture typical of the Cyclades transposed to Rhodes. Minimalist interiors: polished concrete, light wood, local stone, palette of beiges and off-whites. Rooms overlook either the pool or the quiet rear. Intimate scale, around thirty rooms maximum, no monumental lobby.
