A 14-room boutique hotel perched on Faliraki bay, far from the hustle of Rhodes-town.
Marini Seaside

“Direct access to Kastri beach, a shingle cove where bathers can be counted on one hand.”
Marini Seaside holds a promontory above Faliraki bay, Kastri side, where the coast turns rocky and calm. We slept in a 28 m² room with teak terrace, light stone floor, king bed facing the sea. Morning light enters through three picture windows, silence broken only by the waves. The restaurant serves honest Mediterranean cuisine, grilled fish and seasonal vegetables, without gastronomic pretension. Service is attentive, never intrusive, family management palpable. From 186,58 € per night, it's a rare value-for-money for a 5★ in Greece with this view and this calm. We recommend for a few days' retreat, not for a lively stay ✨
Who is it for?
Who we recommend it to
We recommend Marini to couples in their thirties and up seeking absolute calm without sacrificing comfort. It's an address for late honeymoons, post-burnout retreats, compulsive readers wanting a car-free week. Families with young children will find what they need thanks to the private beach, but the vibe stays hushed, no entertainment.
The building
Architecture and interiors
The building dates from 2019, Cycladic architecture revisited: white volumes, flat roofs, driftwood pergolas. Interiors in Lindos stone and whitewashed oak, 3.20-metre ceilings, floor-to-ceiling sliding windows. The 14 rooms spread over two staggered levels, each with unobstructed bay views. The scale stays intimate, rarely more than three couples at breakfast.
At the table
Restaurants, bar, service
The Marini restaurant serves breakfast and dinner on a terrace suspended above the sea. Short menu: daily grilled fish, braised octopus, revisited Greek salad, house desserts. Chef Nikos Papadopoulos works with Faliraki fishermen and inland growers. No starred table, but honest cooking and impeccable produce. Breakfast service stretches to 11.30am, a rare luxury in Greece.
