The Four Seasons lands in Madrid in 2020 and imposes its international standard from the outset in a golden triangle that was waiting just for it.
Four Seasons Hotel Madrid
From
1,391.5 €
“Rooftop with pool and view over Gran Vía, open all year, heated in winter.”
The Four Seasons Hotel Madrid occupies seven 19th-century buildings united around a central patio, calle Sevilla, a stone’s throw from Puerta del Sol. We tested a courtyard-facing room: Spanish marble, light woodwork, limestone bathroom, king-size bed with Simmons bedding. The Wellness Center spa spans 450 m² with indoor pool, hammam, six treatment cabins. The rooftop pool remains the real draw: heated water, teak sun loungers, unobstructed view over Madrid’s rooftops and Gran Vía. Service is well-oiled, discreet, efficient, typical of the chain. From 1 391,50 € per night, we’re in Madrid’s top tier, but the offering delivers on the promise ✨
Who is it for?
Who we recommend it to
We recommend the Four Seasons to travellers seeking a reliable international standard in Madrid, without surprises or disappointments. It’s a hotel for fortysomething and fiftysomething couples, Salamanca shopping weekends, starred dinners, urban spa retreats. Families find their place here (connecting rooms, rooftop pool), but the clientele remains mostly adult, business during the week, leisure at weekends.
The building
Architecture and interiors
The Four Seasons Madrid unites seven 19th-century buildings, classic Madrid facades in ochre stone, wrought-iron balconies. Contemporary interiors by several Spanish architects: white marble, light woodwork, 3.50 m ceilings, central patio with glass roof and centenary trees. The 200 rooms and suites range from 35 to 280 m², all different according to the original building configurations. The whole blends heritage and modern comfort without pastiche, sober and luminous.
At the table
Restaurants, bar, service
The Dani restaurant bears the signature of Andalusian chef Dani García, one Michelin star 2023: revisited southern cuisine, seasonal produce, short menu renewed every three months. The Flor y Solera offers tapas and cocktails in the glazed patio, relaxed vibe, open lunch and dinner. The Isa on the rooftop serves grills and ceviches facing Gran Vía, book for sunset. Breakfast buffet or à la carte, 24/7 room service.
