Jashita Hotel occupies a 200-metre seafront at Punta Soliman, a sheltered bay 20 minutes south of Tulum. We slept in one of the ocean-facing suites: local limestone floors, driftwood furniture, private terrace with hammock and direct views over the Caribbean. The three pools are scattered between the tropical garden and the rooftop, the infinity pool overlooks the white-sand beach. The spa offers Mayan treatments with copal and aloe vera, cabins open to the jungle. The beach stays calm even in high season, coral reef 50 metres away for snorkelling. From 960 € a night, a rate that places Jashita in the upper echelons of Riviera Maya, justified by the site's intimacy and personalised service ✨

Who is it for?

Who we recommend it to

We recommend Jashita to couples seeking seclusion without forgoing five-star comfort, honeymoons or anniversaries away from all-inclusive resorts. The hotel also suits families with children (interconnecting rooms available), but the atmosphere remains adult and intimate. Travellers wanting to be at the heart of Tulum pueblo or the archaeological zone will need a 20-minute drive.

The building

Architecture and interiors

Jashita comprises three low-rise buildings (maximum two storeys) built in 2010, Mexican contemporary architecture with palm-thatched roofs and white facades. Minimalist interiors: limestone floors, raw wood, Chiapas artisanal textiles, white and beige palettes. The suites measure between 60 and 120 m², all with ocean-facing terraces. The scale remains intimate, we move between the buildings along sand paths lined with palms and hibiscus.

At the table

Restaurants, bar, service

The Jashita restaurant serves Mexican-Mediterranean fusion cuisine, tables set on the wooden terrace facing the sea. A la carte breakfast included (chilaquiles, huevos rancheros, smoothie bowls), lunch and dinner with grilled catch of the day and ceviches. The pool bar offers cocktails with artisanal mezcal and light tacos until 22h. Room service available 24/7, reduced but effective menu.

Location & access

Where the hotel sits in Tulum

Jashita lies at Punta Soliman, a residential enclave between Tulum (20 km north) and Sian Ka'an (15 km south). No shops within walking distance, the hotel operates as a self-contained bubble with everything on site. Tulum pueblo and its restaurants are 25 minutes by car, the archaeological zone 30 minutes. Cancún airport at 1h30, Tulum airport (opened in 2023) at 40 minutes. The area remains wild, jungle on one side, sea on the other, perfect for disconnecting from the world.
