Nima Local House Hotel & Spa

We recommend Nima to couples in their thirties and forties seeking a discreet address, far from the bustle of Polanco or Condesa. The intimate scale suits wellness stays (two or three nights with spa treatments) and travellers who prioritise the neighbourhood over monuments. Families will find the offering too confidential, it is above all a house for adults.

Nima reinvests a typical Roma Norte neighbourhood house, probably early 20th century, renovated in a pared-back contemporary spirit. The volumes remain domestic (no cathedral lobby), with interior patios and fluid circulation between common areas and rooms. Dominant natural materials: wood, local stone, handwoven textiles. The whole breathes modern Mexican sobriety, without folklore or cold minimalism.

Nima's restaurant offers a short menu centred on local produce and contemporary Mexican cuisine, without gastronomic pretension. Breakfast is taken in the patio or in-room via room service, available all day. No signature chef or destination table, it is a house offering designed for residents. We come here for comfort and the spa, not for the table.

Nima stands on Colima, a residential street in Roma Norte lined with jacarandas and independent cafés. Alvaro Obregón (the neighbourhood's shopping artery) three minutes on foot, with galleries, bookshops and restaurants. Metro Insurgentes ten minutes' walk, Benito Juárez airport thirty minutes by car (shuttle included). The neighbourhood is calm in the evening, lively by day, favoured by creatives and expats, less touristy than Condesa.
