Mexican contemporary architecture: low volumes in raw concrete, palm roofs, wide openings onto the jungle. The materials are local (limestone, regional wood, handwoven textiles). The scale remains intimate, around thirty rooms spread across independent pavilions. No monumental lobby, rather an open reception under a palapa.

The beach is 5 minutes by car, Dos Ojos and Gran Cenote cenotes 10 minutes. Cancún airport 1h30 away, Tulum's (new, 2023) 20 minutes. A car is essential, hire possible at the hotel.
