Architecture and interiors
The palace dates from the XVIe century, sober Renaissance façade on the campo San Samuele. Philippe Starck preserved the coffered ceilings, Venetian terrazzo, original proportions, then injected his vocabulary: black lacquer, oversized mirrors, sculpted light fittings. The scale is intimate, 22 rooms spread over four floors, period staircase. Each space mixes historic stucco and bespoke furniture, contemporary art collection hung on the walls like in a private apartment.

Chef Filippo Saporito works Venetian produce (lagoon fish, Sant'Erasmo vegetables) with modern technique, tasting menu or short carte. Three minutes on foot from the Accademia, ten minutes from San Marco, five minutes from vaporetto line 2.
