“9,8/10 on 161 reviews, rate from 136,50 € per night: a rare value-for-money for a 5★ in insular Greece.”
Jensen Luxury Suites occupies a discreet address in the medieval centre of Rhodes, a stone's throw from the ramparts. We slept in contemporary suites where white marble contrasts with dark wood panelling and linen textiles. The scale is intimate (five rooms only), the service family-run without being intrusive. Wi-Fi works everywhere, room service delivers until 10pm. From 136,50 € per night, it's one of the best deals we've tested in the eastern Mediterranean this year. Pets are accepted, a rare detail in this category. We recommend for a long weekend off-season, when Rhodes regains its calm ✨
Who is it for?
Who we recommend it to
We recommend Jensen to thirty-something and forty-something couples looking for a design address without the hustle of big resorts. It's a hotel for off-season romantic getaways, discreet honeymoons, or first nights before a cruise in the Dodecanese. Travellers with dogs will appreciate the pet policy, rare in this range in Greece.
The building
Architecture and interiors
The hotel occupies a restored building in the medieval fabric of Rhodes, Ottoman architecture revisited in a contemporary key. Five suites spread over two floors, ceiling heights preserved (around 3,20 m). Interiors signed by an Athenian studio: Thasos marble on the floor, smoked walnut joinery, limestone bathrooms. The scale remains residential, no monumental lobby or endless corridors.
