“Three overflow pools staggered across the hillside, direct view of the Sainte-Victoire mountain from each basin.”
Les Lodges Sainte-Victoire Hotel & Spa holds the Cézanne road, seven kilometres from Aix, facing the mountain the painter immortalised eighty-seven times. We sleep in independent lodges (blonde stone, tiled roofs, private teak terraces), scattered over three hectares of garrigue and vines. The three pools succeed each other in a natural cascade, water heated all year round, sun loungers in Cassis stone. The spa offers Cinq Mondes treatments and cabins with panoramic views over the Sainte-Victoire. From 438 € per night, free shuttle to Aix centre (fifteen minutes). The restaurant serves honest Provençal cuisine, market produce, short menu renewed each week. We recommend for couples seeking absolute calm, far from the Aix tumult ✨
Who is it for?
Who we recommend it to
We recommend the Lodges to couples in their thirties and beyond, seeking Provençal disconnection without folklore. It is an address for wellness weekends, discreet birthdays, post-burnout retreats. Families are accepted (family rooms available), yet the clientele remains predominantly adult, drawn for the spa and the silence.
The building
Architecture and interiors
The hotel adopts the codes of the contemporary Provençal bastide: blonde Rognes stone, canal tile roofs, wooden shutters painted in dove grey. The lodges are scattered across the hillside in successive terraces, each with its own entrance and open view. Minimalist interiors: old tomette tiles, exposed beams, light oak furniture, tadelakt bathrooms. Generous ceiling heights (3.20 m), sliding glass bays opening onto the private terraces.
At the table
Restaurants, bar, service
The Lodges restaurant serves seasonal Provençal cuisine, short menu renewed each week according to arrivals at the Aix market. We find Châteaurenard vegetables, Mediterranean fish, Sisteron lamb, goat cheeses from the Luberon. Continental breakfast served on the terrace facing the Sainte-Victoire, with homemade jams and pastries from a baker in Puyricard. Room service available until 22h, simplified yet refined menu.
