The Hilton in Puerto Madero bets everything on the view: floor-to-ceiling window on the 23ʳᵈ floor, Rio de la Plata in panorama, and the certainty of sleeping in the most modern district of Buenos Aires.
Hilton Buenos Aires

“Outdoor pool on the top floor with 360° view over the port and the skyscrapers of Puerto Madero, open all year.”
The Hilton Buenos Aires occupies a glass and steel tower right on dock 3, facing sailboats and converted former warehouses. We sleep above the 10ᵗʰ floor, floor-to-ceiling windows, light parquet, functional furniture with no surprises. The rooftop pool alone justifies the booking: heated water, teak loungers, sunset over the river and the Reserva Ecológica. Restaurant El Faro serves correct Argentine cuisine, without particular sparkle, yet the buffet breakfast is generous (facturas, medialunas, cured ham). Service is well-oiled, efficient, sometimes impersonal at peak times. From 214 € a night, it is a safe bet for those seeking comfort and location, not the portègne soul. We come here for the view, the 24/7 fitness, and the immediate proximity of the parrillas of Puerto Madero ✨
Who is it for?
Who we recommend it to
We recommend the Hilton to business travellers who want a reliable hotel in the most modern district of Buenos Aires, and to families who appreciate the well-oiled services (pool, spacious rooms, copious breakfast). It is also a good address for a first stay in Buenos Aires: Puerto Madero is secure, pedestrian, and taxis find the hotel without difficulty. Couples in search of historic charm will prefer Recoleta or Palermo; here international comfort takes precedence.
The building
Architecture and interiors
The Hilton Buenos Aires is a contemporary 23-storey tower inaugurated in 2000, glass and steel architecture typical of the renewal of Puerto Madero. Grey marble lobby, cylindrical chandeliers, sober designer furniture. Rooms occupy the upper floors, standard ceiling height (2.70 m), fixed floor-to-ceiling windows, individual air conditioning. The whole is well maintained, functional, without decorative pretension: we are in a Hilton, not in a boutique hotel.
At the table
Restaurants, bar, service
Restaurant El Faro offers a classic Argentine menu (bife de chorizo, provoleta, empanadas) and a few international dishes, service in the dining room or on the terrace facing the port. Bar Tomo 1 serves cocktails and Argentine wines until midnight, muted lounge atmosphere. The buffet breakfast is generous: local pastries, cured ham, cheeses, fresh fruit, on-demand egg station. Room service operates 24/7, reduced yet efficient menu.
