A marina Marriott that plays the urban resort card, two pools and spa facing the yachts of Dubai Marina.
JW Marriott Hotel Marina
From
114.528 €
“9.5/10 rating on nearly 3 000 reviews, a rare consensus for a chain 5★ in Dubai.”
The JW Marriott Hotel Marina occupies a glass and steel building on Al Marsa Street, facing the Dubai Marina pontoons. We tested a marina-facing room, floor-to-ceiling bay window, dark wood furniture and beige marble in the bathroom. Two outdoor pools (one on the roof, one at ground level), spa with treatment cabins, gym open 24h/24. Service is efficient, typical Marriott, no frills but reliable. Rates from 114 € per night, aggressive positioning for a 5★ in Dubai. Free private parking, organised airport shuttle, stable Wi-Fi everywhere. We recommend for a business or family stay that wants the marina without paying the Ritz-Carlton opposite ✨
Who is it for?
Who we recommend it to
We recommend the JW Marriott Marina to business travellers who want a reliable 5★ without paying Burj Khalifa rates, and to families seeking two pools with a view without the Jumeirah Beach bustle. Thirty-something couples will appreciate the proximity of The Walk (restaurants, shops) and the shuttle to the beaches. It's a hotel for those who know Dubai and prioritise value for money over iconic address.
The building
Architecture and interiors
Typical Dubai Marina glass and steel tower, built in the 2000s during the property boom. Light marble lobby, standard Marriott ceiling height (around 2.80 m), contemporary furniture without architect signature. Rooms between 35 and 120 m² by category, all with panoramic bay window. The whole is well-maintained, functional, without design pretensions.
At the table
Restaurants, bar, service
Main restaurant on the ground floor, international buffet in the morning (eggs to order, crêpe station), Asian-Mediterranean fusion menu in the evening. Mezzanine bar with marina view, classic cocktails and wines by the glass. 24h/24 room service, concise but effective menu (club sandwich, pasta, salads). No signature table or starred chef, but The Walk five minutes on foot groups around twenty restaurants (Pier 7, Asia Asia, Rhodes W1).

Location & access
Where the hotel sits in Dubai
The JW Marriott Marina stands on Al Marsa Street, main artery of Dubai Marina, between the DMCC metro and yacht pontoons. The Walk (pedestrian promenade with shops and restaurants) five minutes on foot, JBR Beach ten minutes by taxi. DMCC metro station 800 metres away, red line to Mall of the Emirates or Downtown. International airport (DXB) 35 km, 35 minutes off-peak, shuttle organised by the hotel. The district is lively until midnight, residential and cosmopolitan, less flashy than Downtown but more rooted in daily Dubai life.
