“Villas with private infinity pools and direct views of the Ain Dubai, the world's highest observation wheel.”
Banyan Tree Dubai at Bluewaters occupies a seafront plot on Bluewaters Island, an artificial island linked to the mainland by a 500-metre bridge. We bed down in pavilions inspired by Thai architecture, dark wood, volcanic stone, terraces with daybeds facing the Gulf. The villas boast private infinity pools, some with views of the Ain Dubai which turns at 250 metres high. The Banyan Tree spa unfolds its treatment cabins over two levels, signature massages from Bangkok, Turkish marble hammam. The private beach comes with sun loungers and food service until 22h. From 222 € per night, a contained rate for a 5★ seafront in Dubai ✨
Who is it for?
Who we recommend it to
We recommend the Banyan Tree to couples seeking a beach address without leaving Dubai, and to families wanting the space of villas with private pools. It's a hotel for travellers who prefer the calm of an artificial island to the Downtown towers, while staying fifteen minutes by taxi from the Dubai Mall. Spa enthusiasts find a real Asian treatment menu here, not a disguised gym.
The building
Architecture and interiors
The Banyan Tree occupies a cluster of low pavilions built in 2021, architecture inspired by the brand's Thai resorts. Pitched roofs, grey lava stone façades, exotic wood walkways, tropical gardens planted with palms and bougainvillea. Interiors blend white marble, lacquered dark wood, silk textiles, contemporary Asian furniture. 3.20-metre ceilings, sliding glass doors opening bedrooms onto terraces.
At the table
Restaurants, bar, service
Three tables at the Banyan Tree: Saffron for Thai and pan-Asian cuisine, sea-facing terrace, open lunch and dinner. Tide for fish and seafood grills, Lebanese and French wine list. The Cove Beach Club serves Neapolitan pizzas and cocktails poolside until midnight. Asian and continental buffet breakfast served until 11.30am, 24/7 room service.
