We tested one Friday evening: the clientele shifts from business suits to Istanbul families who come for the rooftop and the 2 000 m² spa. The rooms are calibrated Hilton (Executive bedding, grey marble bathroom, ergonomic desk), but the view compensates: we overlook the rooftops to the Golden Horn. The spa offers traditional hammam, Finnish sauna, and treatment cabins with Turkish oils. From 164,90 € a night, it is one of the best value-for-money options in the 5★ Istanbul scene. The Hilton Istanbul Bomonti rises in a contemporary 34-storey tower, inaugurated in 2013. Smoked-glass façade, white Marmara marble lobby with suspended chandeliers and cognac leather sofas. The upper floors offer a panoramic view over the city, from the historic district to the Sea of Marmara. The interior architecture plays on contrasts: generous volumes, indirect lighting, dark wood and light stone.

The Brasserie Bomonti occupies the ground floor: contemporary Turkish cuisine and grills, breakfast buffet until 11h with made-to-order egg station and house pastries. Filizler Köftecisi on the first floor offers traditional köfte and mezze, local clientele at lunchtime. The Vault Karaköy, rooftop bar on the 34ᵉ floor, serves signature cocktails and fusion tapas until midnight, DJ set on Friday. Room service 24h/7, reduced menu after 23h.
