Aliée Istanbul occupies the former Taskizak shipyards, on the European shore of the Golden Horn. We sleep in rehabilitated industrial volumes, raw concrete and smoked oak joinery, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the water. Rooms range from 35 to 80 m², king-size bedding, Marmara marble bathrooms, private terraces for some suites. The 600 m² spa offers a traditional hammam and treatment cabins facing the strait. Two pools (one heated in winter, the other open May-October) allow swimming with Sultanahmet in sight. Architecture and interiors
The hotel occupies the former Taskizak shipyards, an Ottoman arsenal active until the 1990s. Architects preserved the original metal structures, exposed IPN beams, polished concrete floors, while inserting contemporary glazed volumes. Ceiling heights between 3,50 and 4,20 m depending on the wings. Materials: smoked oak for joinery, Marmara marble in bathrooms, Silivri stone for terraces. The property comprises around fifty rooms spread over three levels facing the water.

The main restaurant offers a Mediterranean-Anatolian menu, seafood from the Sea of Marmara, vegetables from Thrace market gardeners, terrace service from April. The cocktail bar occupies the former forge workshop, hammered copper counter, list of raki and Turkish spirits. Continental breakfast served until 11:30, 24-hour room service. No media-facing signature chef, yet honest cooking focused on short supply chains and the view.

Aliée stands in Camiikebir, the Beyoglu district undergoing transformation, north shore of the Golden Horn. Sultanahmet fifteen minutes by taxi, Karaköy and its art galleries ten minutes on foot, Taksim twenty minutes. Istanbul Airport (IST) lies 45 km away, private shuttle included in the rate. The neighbourhood remains industrial by day, very quiet in the evening, few restaurants nearby. We come here for the hotel itself, not the surroundings.
