“Two cascading pools onto the private beach, direct view over the Aegean Sea and the Dodecanese islands.”
The Bodrum Hotel Yalıkavak occupies a headland on the peninsula, 15 minutes from Palmarina marina. We tested a sea-view room: light travertine floor, whitewashed oak furniture, sliding glass bay onto private balcony. The two pools unfold in successive terraces down to the pebble beach, teak loungers, ecru canvas parasols. The spa offers hammam and signature treatments, the fitness centre overlooks the sea. From 809,90 € per night, which remains reasonable for a 5★ on the Aegean seafront with this level of service. The airport shuttle facilitates arrival from Bodrum-Milas (45 km) ✨
Who is it for?
Who we recommend it to
We recommend this address to couples in their thirties and forties seeking contemporary Turkey without folklore. Families appreciate the two pools and family rooms; the beach stays calm even in high season. It is also an ideal base to explore the Bodrum peninsula (Gümüşlük, Türkbükü) without giving up the comfort of a chain 5★.
The building
Architecture and interiors
The building dates from the 2010s, contemporary Mediterranean architecture in white volumes staggered down the slope. Interiors signed MGallery: local stone, light wood, linen and cotton fabrics, sand and blue palette. The rooms are arranged over three levels, all with private balcony or terrace. Standard ceiling height (2.70 m), generous surfaces, travertine bathrooms with walk-in shower.
At the table
Restaurants, bar, service
The main restaurant offers a Mediterranean menu with Turkish accent: meze, grilled fish, seasonal vegetables. Breakfast buffet served on the terrace facing the sea, local products (goat cheeses, thyme honey, Bodrum olives). The pool bar serves cocktails and snacks until 10 pm. Room service available 24/7, simplified menu after midnight.
