Minimalist interiors: light oak parquet, white walls, sober Italian design furniture, XXL bay windows in the rooms. Generous volumes, 3.20 m ceiling height in the suites, private terraces with lake view on the upper floors. The property comprises around twenty rooms spread over three levels, some with direct access to the garden and beach.

Villa Lario stands on the eastern shore of Lake Como, between Lecco (8 km south) and Varenna (12 km north), on the Statale 36 that runs along the water. The eastern side, less frequented than Bellagio or Menaggio, faces the Grigne mountains. Lecco reachable in ten minutes by car, railway station with direct trains to Milan (1h). Bergamo airport 45 minutes, Malpensa 1h15. The Mandello del Lario district is residential and quiet, a few fish restaurants five minutes on foot, hiking trails in the hinterland.
