“Direct access to a cove of black pebbles, wooden loungers facing the open sea, no neighbour within 500 metres.”
Misincu sits on a tip of Cap Corse, east side, between Bastia and Macinaggio. We sleep in low buildings of local stone, scattered over three hectares of maquis facing the Tyrrhenian Sea. The rooms mix driftwood, white linen, private terraces with views of the Tuscan islands on clear days. Two infinity pools (one heated, the other seawater), 400 m² spa carved into the rock, pebble beach accessible by stairs cut into the cliff. Rates start at 536 € per night, justified by the seclusion and quality of service (airport transfer included, room service until 23h). We recommend the upper floor rooms, open view over the sea without overlooking. The address remains confidential, little traffic off-season, loyal clientele who book year after year ✨
Who is it for?
Who we recommend it to
We recommend Misincu to couples in their forties and older seeking seclusion without sacrificing palace comfort. It is an address for total disconnection, wellness retreat, discreet honeymoons, families with teenagers (separate pools, supervised beach). Italian clientele dominates in July-August, calmer in June and September.
The building
Architecture and interiors
Misincu comprises several low pavilions in local schist stone, flat vegetated roofs, scattered on the slope between road and sea. Sober contemporary architecture signed by a Corsican firm, inaugurated in the early 2010s. Interiors in chestnut wood, natural linen, terracotta tiles, large sliding bays opening onto private terraces. Rooms between 35 and 65 m², all with side or frontal sea views.
