55-storey residential tower at the heart of Silom, where Bangkok unfolds from the floor-to-ceiling windows.
Grande Centre Point Surawong Bangkok

“Pool on the 55th floor with 360° views over the Chao Phraya and Sathorn’s skyscrapers.”
Grande Centre Point Surawong Bangkok occupies a glass-and-steel tower a stone’s throw from Patpong, in Silom’s business district. We bed down in spacious rooms (from 40 m²) with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, light parquet, equipped kitchenette and corner sofa. The pool on the top floor offers unobstructed views over the river and city towers, open until 10pm. The spa offers traditional Thai massages and signature treatments, cabins with dimmed lighting and local oils. The ground-floor restaurant serves buffet breakfast and Thai-international cuisine, unpretentious but effective. From 123 € a night, a rare value-for-money for a 5★ right in the centre. The free airport shuttle avoids haggling with Suvarnabhumi taxis ✨
Who is it for?
Who we recommend it to
We recommend the Grande Centre Point to business travellers who want space (the kitchenette allows light dinners without going out) and to families on long transits (family rooms, high pool, laundry). Couples will appreciate the view from the pool at sunset, but the vibe remains functional, not romantic. It’s a hotel for those who prioritise comfort and practicality over signature decor.
The building
Architecture and interiors
55-storey residential tower completed in 2015, blue-grey glass facade typical of Silom buildings. White marble entrance hall with double height, indirect lighting, sleek contemporary furniture. Rooms occupy the upper floors, all with floor-to-ceiling windows and unobstructed views (city or river depending on orientation). Fast lifts, wide corridors, clean finishes without frills.
At the table
Restaurants, bar, service
The Osha restaurant serves buffet breakfast (Thai and continental, made-to-order eggs station) and Thai-international menu in the evening, no stars but honest. Lobby bar with classic cocktails and local beers, open until midnight. 24/7 room service, reduced menu after 11pm. No signature chef, but the Thai cuisine is decent for a quick fix without venturing out.
