Twelve independent villas built in 2015, contemporary Swahili architecture signed by a firm from Dar es Salaam. Hand-woven makuti thatch roofs, walls in recycled teak wood, floors in locally extracted coral stone. Each villa measures between 100 and 150 m², with main bedroom, living area open to the terrace, 8-metre pool. Ceiling height of 4.50 metres, mango wood fans, furniture custom-designed by artisans from Stone Town.

The main restaurant, The Jetty, serves Swahili-Mediterranean fusion cuisine on stilts above the lagoon. Fish and shellfish bought each morning from the fishermen of Paje, vegetables from the hotel's organic garden, spices from the Darajani market. Breakfast served in the villa or on the beach, short menu that changes according to arrivals. The bar offers tropical fruit cocktails, Tanzanian rums, South African wines. Private dinners possible on the beach, campfire and grilled lobster on request.

Paje Beach is located on the south-east coast of Zanzibar, 50 kilometres from Stone Town and the international airport. The village of Paje remains authentic, a few fish restaurants, kitesurf shops, no large resorts. Three-kilometre white sand beach, lagoon protected by the coral reef, spectacular tides that uncover 200 metres at low tide. The road from the airport crosses clove plantations and Makonde villages, allow 1h15 journey. Jozani Forest 20 minutes away, reserve of endemic red colobus monkeys.
