We recommend Le Square to business travellers who chain meetings between Maarif and Anfa, and to couples in transit before Marrakech or Essaouira who want comfort without paying the corniche. It is a hotel for busy thirty- and forty-somethings, morning meetings, client dinners, dawn departures without parking stress. Families find their place thanks to connecting rooms, yet the atmosphere remains resolutely business on weekdays.

The building dates from the 2010s, contemporary architecture in glass and concrete, light facade with setbacks, seven floors without patrimonial character. Interiors signed by a local firm, mid-century inspiration: Eames armchairs, brushed brass pendant lights, polished terrazzo floors. Double-height lobby with zenithal glass roof, black steel staircase, works by contemporary Moroccan artists (Mahi Binebine, Hassan Hajjaj). Rooms between 26 and 42 m², all identical in layout, variation on upper floors with balcony.

The ground-floor restaurant serves breakfast buffet (7h–11h, scrambled eggs, msemen, fresh juices), lunch and dinner à la carte, Mediterranean and revisited Moroccan cuisine without fuss. We tested the lamb tagine with prunes, just right cooking, neat presentation, generous portion. The adjoining bar offers classic cocktails and Moroccan wines (Bonassia, Volubilia), open until midnight. Room service available 24h/24, reduced menu after 22h.

Le Square stands on rue Moussa Ben Noussair, quiet artery of the Maarif district, between boulevard Zerktouni (shops, banks) and boulevard Massira Al Khadra. Twin Center ten minutes on foot, Morocco Mall fifteen minutes by taxi, Ain Diab corniche twenty minutes. Mohammed V airport twenty kilometres, free hotel shuttle on reservation. The neighbourhood is residential and tertiary, Lebanese and Italian restaurants within 500 metres, moderate animation in the evening, very safe.
