Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo occupies floors 39 to 45 of the Yaesu tower, facing Tokyo Station. We cross a lobby in black Marquina marble and cherry wood, indirect lighting signed Citterio. The 40 rooms start at 50 m², bathtubs in volcanic stone, Frette linen, plunging views over the Shinkansen tracks or the Otemachi skyline. The 200 m² spa offers Bvlgari treatments and private onsen in Oya stone. The 25 m pool on the 40th floor bathes in filtered zenithal light. Impeccable service, concierge who secures impossible reservations at Saito or Den. From 1 486 € a night, we pay for the rarity and the address, not the gigantism ✨

Who is it for?

Who we recommend it to

We recommend the Bvlgari Tokyo to travellers seeking the intimacy of a small vertical palace, far from the big 300-room hotels. It's an address for fortysomething and fiftysomething couples on anniversary trips, executives on the move who want calm after Shibuya, Italian design aficionados fleeing conventional Japanese minimalism. Families can come but the clientele remains mostly adult, often accustomed to the other Bvlgari.

The building

Architecture and interiors

The Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo occupies the top six floors (39 to 45) of the Yaesu tower, inaugurated in 2023 facing Tokyo Station. Interior architecture signed Antonio Citterio: black Marquina marble on the floor, Japanese cherry wood on the walls, brushed brass for the details. The 40 rooms start at 50 m², bathtubs carved from volcanic stone, Frette linen, plunging views over the Shinkansen tracks or the Otemachi skyline. No traditional Japanese decor, Bvlgari imposes its Roman language in Tokyo's verticality.

At the table

Restaurants, bar, service

Il Ristorante on the 45th floor serves contemporary Italian cuisine, 360° view over the bay and Mount Fuji on clear days. Chef Niko Romito oversees the menu, fresh pasta and risottos to the fore, transalpine wine list of 400 references. Il Bar offers classic cocktails and light bites until midnight. Breakfast served in room or at the restaurant, Western or Japanese option, allow 45 minutes for service.
