A rooftop facing the pyramids of Gizeh for 41 €, with airport shuttle included: the address that defies all rate logic.
pyramids palace view With Rooftop Access & free airport pickup
From
40.705 €
“Panoramic terrace over the three pyramids and the Sphinx, accessible 24h/24, no extra charge.”
Pyramids Palace View sits on a residential street in Gizeh, 800 metres from the pyramid plateau. We head up to the rooftop and the view grabs us: Khéops, Khéphren, Mykérinos aligned, the Sphinx below, the desert stretching to the horizon. The rooms are simple, white tiles, functional furniture, effective air conditioning, bedding correct without being memorable. The service is attentive, the free airport shuttle runs 24h/24, the Wi-Fi holds everywhere. At 41 € a night, we are not seeking palace luxury, we come for the terrace and the immediate proximity to the archaeological site. An honest address that bets everything on its location, and that is quite enough ✨
Who is it for?
Who we recommend it to
We recommend this address to travellers who prioritise the view and proximity to the site over palace standing. It is a hotel for couples and families on an Egyptian circuit, photographers of sunrise over the pyramids, tight budgets that refuse to sacrifice location. Business travellers and spa enthusiasts will look elsewhere, here we come for Gizeh, not for the services.
The building
Architecture and interiors
The hotel occupies a recent four-storey residential building, contemporary architecture without particular character. Functional interiors, tiled floors, white walls, standard Cairo guesthouse furniture. The rooftop terrace forms the only true communal space, fitted with loungers and low tables facing the pyramids. Rooms between 18 and 25 m², double-glazed windows to reduce street noise.

Location & access
Where the hotel sits in Cairo
The hotel stands in the residential district of Al-Mansouriyah, west of the Gizeh plateau. The main entrance to the archaeological site is a ten-minute walk, the Sphinx fifteen. The neighbourhood is quiet after 20h, a few local shops and restaurants within 300 metres. Cairo International Airport 35 minutes in the free shuttle, city centre and Egyptian Museum 45 minutes by taxi. The street sees little traffic, we sleep in calm despite the proximity of the main tourist routes.
