A Victorian bed & breakfast turned spa-hotel in the heart of Napa Valley, for those seeking calm between two tastings.

“Free parking and on-site spa, rare in downtown Napa where most addresses charge 30 $ / day.”
The Napa Inn & Spa occupies a Victorian house from 1899 on Warren Street, two blocks from the Napa River. We slept in rooms with high ceilings, original parquet, understated American colonial furniture. The spa offers classic massages and treatments, nothing revolutionary but effective after a day of cave-hopping. The whole remains modest, the welcome warm, the decoration a bit dated in the common areas. From 235 € a night, it is a solid base to explore the valley without paying resort prices. We recommend it for the value for money and the tranquillity of the residential neighbourhood.
Who is it for?
Who we recommend it to
We recommend the address to couples in their thirties and forties who come for the vineyards, not for the hotel itself. It is a practical base for those who prefer to spend their budget on tastings rather than a palace. Contemporary design enthusiasts will pass, the atmosphere remains resolutely old-school American.
The building
Architecture and interiors
The Victorian building from 1899 has kept its original proportions: high ceilings, sash windows, dark wood staircase. The rooms mix antique parquet with colonial furniture, floral fabrics, white-tiled bathrooms. The scale remains intimate, 14 rooms spread over two levels. The spa occupies a recent extension at the back, more functional than architectural.

The historic cellars in the centre (Vintner's Collective, JaM Cellars) are accessible without a car. San Francisco airport is 1h15 away by road, Oakland 1h.
