L'Alila Napa Valley occupies a contemporary building on Main Street, steps from the tasting rooms of St. Helena. We tested a 42 m² room with private terrace, whitewashed oak floor, Japanese lava stone bathtub, direct view over the cabernet sauvignon rows. The spa extends its 1 200 m² between volcanic steam room, heated pool and six massage cabins facing the vines, we easily spend half a day there. The outdoor pool remains open until 22h, lit by floating lanterns. The service is attentive without being intrusive, typical of the Hyatt signature. The building dates from 2020, contemporary Californian architecture signed by a San Francisco firm. Horizontal volumes in raw concrete and cedar wood, large bay windows, interior patios planted with olive trees. Minimalist interiors: lava stone, whitewashed oak, natural linen, beige and grey palette. Rooms between 42 and 85 m², all on one level or with private terrace.

The Acacia House restaurant offers a Californian menu centred on local produce, vegetables from the hotel garden, meats from neighbouring farms. Breakfast served until 11h with made-to-order egg station and cold-pressed juices. The Pourtal bar serves signature cocktails based on Napa Valley spirits, wine list by the glass renewed each week.
