The Milestone occupies a Victorian townhouse from 1885 on Kensington Court, red-brick façade facing the gates of the royal park. The 44 rooms and suites retain original wood panelling, marble fireplaces, Zoffany fabrics and furniture sourced from London auctions. Some suites overlook Kensington Gardens directly, others the paved inner courtyard. The whole blends period authenticity and contemporary comfort (refreshed bedding, marble bathrooms), without veering into museum territory.

The Cheneston's restaurant serves modern British cuisine in a panelled room, discreet London club ambience. Short menu that shifts with the market, afternoon tea on request (house scones, cucumber sandwiches). The Stables bar offers classic cocktails and single malt whiskies in the vaulted former stables. Breakfast included in some rates, served in room or dining room until 11.30am.
