Hotel Naru Seoul - MGallery Collection
From
193.408 €
“Two pools (indoor and rooftop) with views over the Han River and the Bukhansan mountains.”
Hotel Naru Seoul occupies a contemporary tower in Mapo-gu, facing the Han River. We appreciate the clean lines, the grey stone and light wood lobby, the natural light that floods through the floor-to-ceiling bay windows. The rooms blend minimalist Korean aesthetics with international comfort, firm bedding, white marble bathrooms. The double pool (heated indoor, seasonal rooftop) remains the real draw, with this open view over the river and the mountains to the north. The fitness centre opens 24/7, handy for jet lag. From 193 € a night, a smart positioning for a 5★ in Seoul ✨
Who is it for?
Who we recommend it to
We recommend the Naru to business travellers seeking a modern pied-à-terre outside the classic hotel districts (Gangnam, Myeongdong), and to thirty-something couples drawn to the cultural scene of Hongdae without wanting to sleep in a noisy boutique hotel. Families enjoy the spacious rooms and the indoor pool, yet the address remains conceived above all for an adult clientele, business or urban leisure.
The building
Architecture and interiors
Contemporary glass and steel tower built in the 2010s, renovated and integrated into the MGallery collection in 2018. Interiors signed by a Korean studio, minimalist vocabulary: grey Pocheon stone, walnut panels, matte white ceramic. The lobby stretches over double height, Cassina furniture and hanji paper pendants. Rooms between 28 and 45 m², full-width bay windows, river or mountain view depending on the floor.
At the table
Restaurants, bar, service
The main restaurant offers a Korean-Mediterranean fusion menu, a solid breakfast buffet (banchan, eggs to order, imported pastries), lunch and dinner à la carte. The lobby bar serves classic cocktails and premium soju until midnight. Room service available 24/7, reduced menu after 22h. Execution stays clean without claiming to rival the neighbourhood tables, and Hongdae brims with good addresses five minutes away on foot.
