Architecture and interiors
The building dates from 1913, constructed for the De Nederlanden van 1845 insurance company in Dutch neoclassical style. Red-brick façade with natural stone surrounds, park-side bow windows. Interior redesigned in 2012 by Concrete studio: mix of preserved original mouldings and contemporary furniture (Minotti armchairs, Flos lighting). Rooms between 28 and 65m², all different, some with restored marble fireplaces.

Mediterranean menu (truffle risotto, line-caught sea bass, milk-fed lamb), 180-reference wine cellar. Continental buffet breakfast served until 11am at weekends, with made-to-order eggs station. Sophia bar offers signature cocktails and champagne by the glass until midnight. 24/7 room service, reduced menu after 10pm.
