Who is it for?
Who we recommend it to
We send to the Fairmont travellers seeking a modern palace without forgoing North American comfort (king bedding, shower pressure, efficient air conditioning). It is an address for thirty- and fifty-something couples, Pařížská shopping weekends, business lunches in the Jewish quarter, spa getaways. Families appreciate the connecting rooms and the pool, yet the atmosphere remains hushed, rather adult.
The building
Architecture and interiors
The building dates from 1910, neoclassical stone facade, six storeys with bow windows on the street. Fairmont renovation completed in 2021: white Carrara marble on the floor, bleached oak panelling, custom furniture signed Dedon and Minotti. The Art Nouveau glass roof of the pool comes from a former Prague café dismantled in the 1950s, purchased and restored piece by piece. Rooms between 32 and 85 m², all different, some with private terrace overlooking the roofs.
At the table
