A master house Art Deco in Polanco, transformed into a nine-room hotel where the spa occupies as much space as the suites.

“400 m² spa with hammam, sauna and treatment cabins in a 1930 residence that welcomes only nine rooms.”
Casa Polanco Hotel Boutique occupies an Art Deco villa from 1930 on Luis G. Urbina, in the most affluent residential neighbourhood of Mexico. Only nine rooms, spread over three floors, with oak parquet, padded headboards and grey marble bathrooms. The spa takes up half of the ground floor: zellige hammam, Finnish sauna, four massage cabins, 12-metre indoor pool. We tested the room service, impeccable, delivered under a porcelain cloche. The Booking rating of 9,6/10 based on 59 reviews reflects an address that bets everything on intimacy and well-being. From 1 395 € per night, it is expensive for Mexico, but the house justifies the rate with its confidential scale and spa facilities worthy of a resort. ✨
Who is it for?
Who we recommend it to
We recommend Casa Polanco to couples seeking absolute calm, far from the bustle of Condesa and Roma Norte, who prioritise the spa over nightlife. It is an address for travellers aged 35 and over, wellness retreats, discreet birthdays, long layovers between two flights. Families find their place thanks to the family rooms, but the spirit remains resolutely adult and hushed.
The building
Architecture and interiors
The villa dates from 1930, typical of historic Polanco: white façade with columns, bow windows, original ironwork. Interior refurbished in 2019 with respect for the Art Deco volume: 3.50 m ceiling height, preserved mouldings, black marble staircase. The rooms range from 28 to 45 m², all different, some with a balcony overlooking the street jacarandas. The spa occupies the former reception salon and the vaulted cellar, transformed into a hammam.
At the table
Restaurants, bar, service
The ground-floor restaurant serves a short menu, Mexican-Mediterranean fusion, open midday and evening to residents and outsiders by reservation. Continental breakfast included, served until 11am, with fresh juices and pan dulce from the Rosetta bakery. The adjacent bar offers artisanal mezcals and cocktails based on tropical fruits. Room service available 24/7, reduced menu after 10pm.
