We recommend Bill&Coo to thirty- and forty-something couples seeking Mykonian calm without forgoing contemporary design. It's an address for late honeymoons, discreet anniversaries, post-Paris-season retreats. Families are accepted but the clientele remains mostly adult, the pool atmosphere tilts towards lounge bar in late afternoon.

The complex dates from 2008, pared-back Cycladic architecture by K-Studio, white volumes cascading over three levels. Minimalist interiors, polished concrete floors, driftwood, natural linen, a few touches of Klein blue. Suites range from 35 to 120 m², all with private terraces, some with plunge pools. The whole counts 32 units, intimate scale that preserves calm even in high season.

The Infinity Blue restaurant occupies the main terrace, Mediterranean menu with daily grilled fish, octopus from Paros, organic vegetables from Tinos. Chef Athinagoras Kostakos delivers honest cooking, well executed without starred pretensions. Breakfast served until noon, creamy scrambled eggs, Greek yogurt with thyme honey, fresh-squeezed juices on demand. The cocktail bar runs all day, basil mojitos and spritzes well balanced.

Megali Ammos sits 800 metres south of Chora, Mykonos's capital. We reach the Old Port on foot in fifteen minutes along the seafront, the windmills and Little Venice in twenty. The beach below remains family-friendly, less crowded than Paradise or Super Paradise. Private airport shuttle included, fifteen-minute ride. The neighbourhood is residential, calm after sunset, a few local tavernas nearby.
