Alissachni Mykonos

We recommend Alissachni to couples in their thirties and above who flee the bustle of Chora and prefer a calm base with sea views. It's an address for discreet honeymoons, wellness retreats, or beach stays without Psarou's packed beach clubs. Families find their place here (spacious rooms, pool), but the clientele remains mostly adult and in search of tranquillity.

The hotel adopts classic Cycladic architecture: white cubic volumes, flat roofs, blue shutters. Minimalist interiors with light stone floors, oak woodwork, natural linen textiles. The rooms are staggered on the hillside, most with private sea-facing terraces. The scale remains intimate, around thirty rooms maximum, which explains the personalised service.

The hotel restaurant serves a Mediterranean menu: grilled fish, Greek salads, meze, fresh pasta. Continental breakfast served on the sea-facing terrace, with Greek yoghurt, Tinos honey, pastries. The bar offers classic cocktails and Greek wines (Assyrtiko, Xinomavro). Room service available until 10pm, practical for dining in after a beach day.

Alissachni is located in Agios Lazaros, between Psarou Beach (3 min by car) and Chora (8 min). The neighbourhood is residential, calm, with a few private villas and small hotels. Psarou Beach, one of the island's most sought-after, is accessible by private shuttle or on foot (15 min downhill, less pleasant on the way back). Mykonos Airport 6 km away, free shuttle included. Chora port 4 km away, handy for ferries to Delos or Paros.
