Bordeaux finally has its pocket boutique hotel: seven rooms, a glasshouse spa, and the elegance of a 19th-century townhouse without the tiring opulence.

“Seven rooms only, all with marble fireplaces and island bathtubs, in an 1860 townhouse a stone's throw from the Jardin Public.”
Villas Foch Boutique Hotel & Spa occupies a neoclassical townhouse on Cours du Maréchal Foch, five minutes from the Jardin Public. Seven rooms, no more, all with original marble fireplaces, herringbone parquet, island bathtubs in copper or enamelled cast iron. The glasshouse spa (heated pool, sauna, hammam) is housed in a former orangery, zenithal light all day long. We slept in the Foch suite, 45 m², king-size bed facing the fireplace, Carrara marble bathroom, absolute silence despite the cours. The service is discreet, almost invisible, breakfast served in the room or in the inner patio. From 675 € a night, it is the price of a confidential address that refuses to grow ✨
Who is it for?
Who we recommend it to
We recommend Villas Foch to couples seeking the intimacy of a guest house with the services of a palace, without the crowds of large Bordeaux establishments. It is an address for romantic weekends, discreet birthdays, travellers who prefer seven rooms to one hundred and fifty. Families find their place here (family rooms available), but the spirit remains resolutely adult, hushed, almost confidential.
The building
Architecture and interiors
The hotel occupies a neoclassical 1860 townhouse, blonde ashlar façade typical of Second Empire Bordeaux cours. Interiors refurbished in 2020: restored herringbone parquet, Carrara white marble fireplaces, original mouldings preserved, contemporary furniture (Cassina, B&B Italia) that contrasts without clashing. Ceiling height 3.50 metres, sash windows, stone staircase with wrought-iron handrail. The glasshouse spa occupies the former orangery of the inner garden, early 20th-century metal and glass structure restored.
At the table
Restaurants, bar, service
No restaurant on site, but continental breakfast served in the room or in the inner patio: viennoiseries from boulangerie Seguin (rue du Pas-Saint-Georges), house-made jams, freshly pressed juices, eggs to order. Room service available 24/7 in partnership with three neighbourhood tables (Le Quatrième Mur, Garopapilles, Le Pavillon des Boulevards). The lounge bar offers a selection of Bordeaux wines (around thirty references, advice on request) and classic cocktails until midnight.
