“Rooftop infinity pool, direct views of Marina Bay Sands and the illuminated waterfront.”
The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore commands the Collyer Quay waterfront, in a glass-and-steel edifice from 2010. We bed down facing the bay, the rooms all overlook water or skyline, floor-to-ceiling picture windows, dark wood and grey marble. The top-floor pool remains the principal asset, open until 10pm, teak sun loungers, clear views over the three Marina Bay Sands towers. The spa offers massages and classic treatments, nothing revolutionary but the setting compensates. Service is attentive without being intrusive, we sense the Fullerton Hotels training. From 370 € a night, a coherent rate for Singapore south bank, especially with this view. We recommend for a business stay or design weekend, not for local authenticity ✨
Who is it for?
Who we recommend it to
We recommend the Fullerton Bay to business travellers who want a design setting after CBD meetings, and to couples on city breaks who prioritise views over neighbourhood authenticity. It's a hotel for thirtysomethings and fortysomethings, waterside dinners, rooftop at end of day, brunches facing the skyline. Families find their place thanks to spacious rooms, but the clientele remains mostly adult and international.
The building
Architecture and interiors
The Fullerton Bay occupies a seven-storey contemporary building, constructed in 2010 alongside the historic Fullerton Hotel. Glass-and-steel architecture, clean lines, fully glazed facade on the bay side. 2010s design interiors, wengé wood, anthracite grey marble, bespoke furniture, 3.20m ceiling heights. The 100 rooms and suites occupy floors 2 to 6, the rooftop dedicated to the pool and bar.
At the table
Restaurants, bar, service
The Clifford Pier serves revamped Cantonese and Singaporean cuisine, tables facing the bay, open lunch and dinner. The Landing Point offers afternoon tea and cocktails in a glazed lounge, views of Marina Bay. Asian and continental buffet breakfast at the Clifford Pier, 24/7 room service. The Lantern, rooftop bar by the pool edge, remains the most sought-after address for aperitifs, book in late afternoon.
