Unique table d'hôtes every evening, set menu served in the patio under the orange trees, booking essential for non-residents.
HistoriqueRomantiqueSpaGastronomieBien-être

Dar Rhizlane occupies an Art Deco palace in Hivernage, just eleven suites, garden of orange trees and jasmines enclosed by walls. We slept in a room with blue and white zellige tiles, four-poster cedar bed, ochre tadelakt bathroom. The spa offers traditional hammam and argan oil massages, heated pool in the garden. The evening table d'hôtes brings all residents together around a unique Moroccan menu, service at precisely 20h30, family home atmosphere rather than anonymous palace. From 249,82 € per night, breakfast included, free airport shuttle. The address appeals to couples seeking the intimacy of a house rather than the codes of a grand hotel ✨

Who is it for?

Who we recommend it to

We recommend Dar Rhizlane to couples who prefer the atmosphere of a luxury guesthouse to the standardised services of grand palaces. It's an address for travellers who accept the set table d'hôtes and appreciate exchanges with other residents. Regulars return every winter, book the same suite, know the staff by their first names.

The building

Architecture and interiors

The palace dates from the 1930s, Moroccan Art Deco era, bought and converted into a guesthouse in 2005. Traditional architecture with central patio, horseshoe arcades, geometric blue and white zellige tiles. Eleven suites spread over two levels, carved cedar ceilings, antique doors reclaimed from the medina. Garden of 2 000 m² planted with orange trees, lemon trees, jasmines, bougainvilleas.

At the table

Restaurants, bar, service

The evening table d'hôtes is the heart of the house, unique Moroccan menu served at 20h30 in the patio or salon depending on the season. Traditional cuisine revisited, market produce, slow-cooked tajines, homemade pastries. Breakfast included served until noon, mint tea and pastries available all day. No menu, no choice, warn at booking if allergies or special diets.
