L'Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo has occupied square Beaumarchais since 1900, stuccoed façade and Gustave Eiffel glass canopy above the Winter Garden. We cross the underground gallery to reach the Thermes Marins, and it's this direct link that makes all the difference with the other Monégasque palaces. The rooms mix period mouldings and light marble, some overlook the port, others the Japanese garden of the Casino. The Vistamar restaurant holds a Michelin star, Mediterranean cuisine under the direction of Benoît Witz. Two pools (one indoor at the Thermes, one outdoor on the roof), impeccable room service, from 1 530 € per night. We recommend for a long wellness stay, not just a stopover ✨

Who is it for?

Who we recommend it to

We recommend the Hermitage to travellers who come to Monaco for wellness, not for the casino. It's a hotel for couples in their fifties and up, multi-day thermal cures, wedding anniversaries, gilded recoveries. Families find their place here but the clientele remains mostly adult, in search of calm.

The building

Architecture and interiors

The Hôtel Hermitage has occupied square Beaumarchais since 1900, Belle Époque stuccoed façade and glass canopy signed Gustave Eiffel above the Winter Garden. Interiors mixing original mouldings and light marble, progressively renovated without betraying the 1900 spirit. Rooms between 28 and 90 m², some with port view, others on the Japanese garden of the Casino. The air-conditioned underground gallery linking the hotel to the Thermes Marins remains the major architectural asset.
