“Three infinity pools including one of 50 metres beachfront, open until sunset.”
Le Jumeirah Saadiyat Island Abu Dhabi occupies 600 metres of blonde beach on the east coast of Abu Dhabi's cultural island. We sleep in rooms in sand and off-white tones, floor-to-ceiling bay windows, private terraces facing the Persian Gulf. The Talise spa extends over 1,400 m² with hammam, sauna, sea-view treatment cabins. The three pools follow one another along the beach, the main one measures 50 metres and remains open until 8pm in summer. The service is attentive without being intrusive, the staff speak French fluently. We recommend from 290 € per night, a competitive rate for a 5★ beachfront in Abu Dhabi ✨
Who is it for?
Who we recommend it to
We recommend the Jumeirah Saadiyat to families seeking a complete resort without leaving the beach, and to couples in their thirties in search of winter sun with spa facilities. The three pools and supervised beach reassure parents, while the spa and restaurants appeal to adults without children. It is a hotel for those who wish to combine beachside idleness with cultural visits (Louvre, Sheikh Zayed Mosque 20 minutes away).
The building
Architecture and interiors
The Jumeirah Saadiyat Island opened in 2018, low horizontal architecture by Perkins+Will, inspired by Gulf fishing villages. Beige limestone façades, flat roofs, shaded walkways with contemporary white aluminium mashrabiyas. Interiors by Hirsch Bedner Associates: cream marble floors, light woodwork, bespoke furniture in natural tones. The 293 rooms and suites are spread over a maximum of four floors, all sea or garden facing.
At the table
Restaurants, bar, service
Three restaurants at the Jumeirah Saadiyat: Mare Mare for Mediterranean cuisine on the terrace facing the beach, Tean for Lebanese grills and mezze, White for seafood and daily fish. The buffet breakfast is taken at Mare Mare, continental or English, with made-to-order egg station and freshly pressed juices. The Majlis Lounge serves afternoon tea and evening cocktails, terrace overlooking the main pool. 24-hour room service, reduced menu after midnight.
