A Rotana apart-hotel that plays the long-stay card in Abu Dhabi, with equipped kitchens and accessible rates for an Emirati 5★.
Al Maha Arjaan by Rotana
From
56.745 €
“Studios and apartments with full kitchenette, ideal for stays of several weeks in Abu Dhabi without blowing the palace budget.”
Al Maha Arjaan by Rotana occupies a modern tower on Fatima bint Mubarak Street, in the business district of Abu Dhabi. We tested a 35 m² studio with kitchenette (hob, fridge, microwave), sofa bed, desk. The finishes are correct without being luxurious, beige carpet, light marble bathroom, effective double glazing. The rooftop pool offers a clear view of the skyline, open until 10pm. The service is professional, the reception speaks French. From 57 € per night, it is good value for Abu Dhabi, especially if staying a week or more.
Who is it for?
Who we recommend it to
We recommend the address to business travellers on long assignments, to families who want to cook a few meals, to expats in transit before settling in. It is a hotel for those seeking the autonomy of an apartment with hotel services (daily housekeeping, room service, pool). Couples on a city break will find better on the charm side, but the rate compensates.
The building
Architecture and interiors
Contemporary glass and concrete tower, typical of the Emirati real estate boom of the 2010s. Beige marble lobby, indirect lighting, standard Rotana furniture (chocolate armchairs, lacquered counter). The studios occupy floors 5 to 20, ceiling height 2.60 m, sliding bay windows. The whole is functional, well maintained, without particular architectural signature.
At the table
Restaurants, bar, service
Ground-floor restaurant serving international buffet morning, noon and evening (Lebanese, Indian, Western cuisine). Breakfast is copious, we counted around fifteen hot dishes, made-to-order egg station, pastries correct. Room service available 24/7, menu of sandwiches, salads, hot dishes delivered in 30 minutes. No signature table, but the kitchenette allows ordering from neighbours (Zomato, Deliveroo active in the district).
